Terms of Service

Introduction

The user interfaces operated by TyronDAO (the "Interfaces") are open-source frontends to the Tyron Web3 protocols (the "Protocols"), a decentralized collection of blockchain smart contracts and tools. The Tyron team develops and maintains these Protocols. While the Protocols are developed by TyronDAO, all transactions are executed on permissionless smart contracts. The Protocols are open-source under AGPLv3.

1. Acceptance

By using the Interfaces, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the Interfaces.

2. Service Description

Decentralized Protocols: The Protocols such as Syron, developed by TyronDAO, enable BTC-overcollateralized stablecoins through smart contract accounts. These function as safety deposit boxes for minting Syron stablecoins.

Non-Custodial: We do not control your wallet funds, private keys, or digital assets. You maintain full control and responsibility.

Open Source: The code is publicly available under AGPLv3. Third parties can create alternative interfaces to the same Protocols.

3. Eligibility

Age: You must be 18+ years old.

Legal Capacity: You must have legal capacity to enter these Terms.

Prohibited Jurisdictions: The Interfaces are prohibited for residents of: Belarus, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Cuba, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Zimbabwe, and other sanctioned jurisdictions.

You represent that you are not in prohibited jurisdictions or on sanctions lists.

4. Wallet Security

Third-Party Wallets: You may need to connect a compatible wallet. We do not control third-party wallets. Their terms apply to your use of such wallets.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for wallet security, private keys, wallet transactions, software updates, and backups.

5. Service Use

Permitted: Interacting with the Protocols, managing smart contract accounts, minting Syron stablecoins, accessing documentation.

Prohibited: Illegal use, unauthorized access, disruption, malicious code, law violations, market manipulation, or reputation damage.

6. Smart Contract Risks

Risks: Smart contract bugs, blockchain failures, fund loss, user errors, regulatory changes, and market volatility.

No Guarantees: We cannot guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, security, or compatibility.

7. Fees

Network Fees: You pay blockchain gas fees directly to blockchain validators.

Protocol Fees: Any protocol fees will be disclosed before executing transactions.

8. Intellectual Property

Open Source: Licensed under AGPLv3. You may use, modify, and distribute accordingly, subject to AGPLv3 requirements, including source code disclosure for network services.

Trademarks: TyronDAO trademarks require our written consent for use.

User Content: You retain ownership but grant us a license to use content you submit.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs information collection and use. By using the Service, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

"AS IS": THE INTERFACES AND THE PROTOCOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. While TyronDAO develops the Protocols, we do not control the public blockchains' operations.

No Warranties: We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, and security.

Liability Limitation: No developer or entity involved will be liable for any damages from your use, including loss of profits, digital assets, or tokens.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability cannot exceed fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TyronDAO from claims arising from your use, Terms violations, law violations, or third-party rights violations.

12. Termination

By You: Stop using anytime. Smart contract interactions may continue.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access anytime if required by the law.

Effect: Your access to the Interfaces ends immediately. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms anytime. We will notify you by posting updates and changing the effective date. Continued use means acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in London, England, in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). The arbitration shall be conducted in English. No class actions are permitted.

15. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms and Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement.

Severability: Unenforceable provisions do not affect the remaining Terms.

No Waiver: Non-enforcement of any provision does not waive our rights.

Assignment: You cannot assign rights without consent. We may assign freely.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control.

16. Third-Party Links

Clicking links to third-party websites leaves TyronDAO. We are not responsible for third-party content or actions.
